6 YouTube Video Ideas That Are Beginner Friendly

You have done the leg work by creating your channel now all you have to do is create content for the channel but what you ask? Well you could base your first videos on your niche or use the videos listed below for inspiration.

To gain more traffic for your channel create content that is relevant and exciting. A lesson that I am learning is that the channel is not for me, it is for those watching. With that said lets explore the 6 ideas together starting with number 1!

IDEA 1: QUESTION AND ANSWER

A question and answer (Q&A) is a brilliant introductory video! This will allow your audience to get to know you better and what your channel is all about by expanding on the type of content they can look forwards to. Try to include some questions that may have funny or shocking answers to boost your video from standard to interesting. Engagement can sometimes be tricky but you can use the comments section to help in that area. I would recommend either giving your audience a question to answer for example, what is your favorite food.

IDEA 2: CHANNEL TRAILER

The trailer can be about 1 minute and a half, I love watching channel trailers they are great! It is another way to introduce the channel, whether you do this before or after your first video is up to you. A flowing video looks more professional rather than just a slideshow of pictures, I am working on this one myself. You will see me doing a bit of dance. To make sure everyone that visits your channel sees the video pin it to the top in settings.

IDEA 3: TRY ON HAULS

If you are a big fan of a certain brand such as i saw it first or Missguded then this one is perfect for you! A lot of people love clothes and want to see how it fits on others. An honest opinion goes far which helps the viewers to decide whether they are interested in browsing the site. Browsing can lead to buying (if you have the funds). Just a note this is where it benefits to become an affiliate.

IDEA 4: GET READY WITH ME (GRWM)

Guys this is your chance to show us your skin care routine and your go to make up look. While getting ready pick a topic to discuss or upbeat music that keeps people interested throughout the video. Don't forget your hair! Do you keep your everyday hairstyle or do you have new one for everyday?

IDEA 5: HOW I EDIT MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS

Youtube newbies want to know what apps to use to improve their videos. Any tips or tricks are welcomed as there is so much to learn. Good editing makes content look better therefore more people will be willing to watch and mostly importantly subscribe. I have watched quite a few videos on how to edit which have been so helpful. They have not only helped me to edit but to create eye catching thumbnails and introductions.

IDEA 6: CHALLENGES

Definition of fun!!! Laughing is medicine and I know it is true watching funny videos can lift peoples spirits. Who does not like being in a good mood? Sometimes it is okay to be silly especially when entertaining others.
