3 steps that can help boost your confidence

A short guide to help you boost your confidence and become the person you want to be.

Has your confidence faded? Do you long to be like your confident friend? Well today I am going to share with you 3 crucial steps to help you on your journey. I know you are wondering what the 3 step are, so here;


  1. Positive Affirmations

  2. Trying Something New

  3. Stop Hesitating

WHAT DOES CONFIDENCE MEAN ? Before we dive in let’s define what confidence actually means. Confidence means to believe in oneself and to be certain in ones abilities. LISTEN! You need to believe that you can succeed and you will succeed.

Positive Affirmations

In order for you to believe you can do something, your mindset has to be right. Bam! Positive affirmations (good statements), we are now looking into step 1. An example of a positive affirmation could be “I am the best at being me“ or “I can achieve great things“. The affirmations work best when repeated daily, I would suggest the morning to set your day in good stead.


When something is consistent it sticks, it is the same with building your confidence. If you say good words about yourself you’ll start to believe them.


The positive words that you speak combat the negativity that may be overshadowing you. Make sure to say the words out loud into the atmosphere, so you can hear how you are saying it. Why? saying the words out loud allows you to hear the difference from day 1 to day 30. You will sound and feel different.


Do not get me wrong some days you will feel as though the words are lies but push through that. The push is an acronym for


  • P- push

  • U-until

  • S-something

  • H-happens


and what will happen is change.



Try something new

It is fine to exit your comfort zone and try something completely different. The act of doing something new reveals confidence within because it can be real scary trying what you don’t know. Also, gaining new skills can make you feel equipped. Therefore moving the confidence level upwards. Be creative and have fun the limit is your mind.




Stop hesitating

Hesitating is a big NO! Why are you stopping yourself from transforming into a butterfly? Have confidence that you know what you are doing. A personal example is clothing for me I often want to dress up for any occasion but then I stop myself. I start thinking of how others will view me and ask myself if I doing to much. Ha! No I’m doing enough if I want to look then i should. I know I am beautiful and the clothes are my beautifying accessories. So the next time you want to do something do it !!!


All 3 three steps work as a team to build your confidence. Be ready to make a change. The level that you are striving for will not come over night but with persistence and patience you’ll get there. #unleashtheconfidence
